Bismillah arRahmaan arRaheem wa as salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmtuAllahi wa barakatuhu!

Have you ever noticed the lack of Muslims discussing Money an how to get it? It would almost appear as though it is not an important topic and it is something that hardly concerns us. Well, on MuslimMoneyMan.com, we are not only going to discuss ways to increase your Financial IQ, but in sha Allah provide you with practical means by which you can add value to the marketplace and in return attract money to you much easier than a job!

Many non-Muslims have studied money and business systems, have taught others about it accumulation, and built financial empires that span generations and alHamdolillah, now is the time for us to tap into the wealth of knowledge regarding money they have given!

As Muslims, we are already amongst the successful, we have the correct deen and the best guide in our Nabee (sws). We must remember that even the shaheed’s (martyr) soul is tied to his debts after he/she dies until the debt is paid! We should remember how some of the companions that weren’t rich complained about how they won’t get some of the blessing of the rich and the Prophet (sws) taught them the dhikr on the fingers of subhanAllah, alHamdolillah, wa Allahu Akbar. We must remember the rewards and dua given for Uthman bin Affan as he and others financially secure used part of their wealth for the cause of this deen! I am not here as a shaykh or teacher about this beautiful deen, if that is what you seek and you should, please visit one of the best resources I have ever seen online at www.TheFIKS.org and study with Shaykh Abu Taubah in sha Allah.

I want to pass on what has worked for me and many others that have chosen to take the path less traveled when it comes to financial success. I have had the privilege to study about finances live and in person from some of the Masters of the Money game including;

  • Donald Trump
  • Robert Kiyosaki
  • Tony Robbins
  • Brian Tracy
  • Paul J Meyer
  • Muhammad Alshareef
  • Darnell Self
  • John C. Maxwell
  • Brian Carruthers
  • David Bach

Others from whom I’ve learned either thru course, books,  or personal study include;

  • Frank Kern
  • John Reese
  • Eben Pagan
  • Jeff Walker
  • Napoleon Hill
  • John Allen
  • Richard Bandler
  • Jim Rohn
  • Jack Canfield
  • Robert Allen
  • Mark Victor Hansen
  • Les Hewitt
  • Les Brown
  • and many more…

Our intent is to put this information together in a fashion that will benefit us as Muslims and do better for humanity as a whole in sha Allah. Please see our resources section for my personal recommendations and tools that you can use to increase your Financial IQ.

I also am giving away access to exclusive never before seen trainings on Internet Marketing for those that join my email list. It is a pleasure for me to deliver high quality content rich information to you for more or less selfish reasons, if you benefit and if the beneficial knowledge I give continues after I have departed this life, Allah t’ala will continue to increase my scale of good deeds and I need that increase walHamdolillah!

wa as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatuAllahi wa barakatuhu,

What is Muslim Money Man???

Bismillah arRahmaan arRaheem wa as salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmtuAllahi wa barakatuhu!

I felt it was an absolute necessity to develop this site as I see the need growing day by day. I know that living in the West, Muslims have all sorts of things that distract them from their daily duties. We can literally post about hundreds of things that seep the day’s time away and allow it to pass by sometimes unnoticed.

However, there are some things that we do that we dedicate the majority of our life to & it is not Islam or in the pursuit of anything remotely Islamic. It is known as a necessity and some even base their status in society on its prestige. This ‘time thief’ is called by many names but for our discussion here, we will use its universal title………… a Job!

Though that word job is sometimes called work and even slyly described as a career, for most employees living in the West, particularly the united States of America, it can be characterized as modern day slavery. According to a survey of ‘workers’ by CareerBuilder.com magazine, over 84% of those surveyed do not feel that they are in their dream jobs. Despite the survey dealing with employees in general and not separating it by sex, religion, nationality, etc… we know that Muslims are in the same category. I know of Muslims that compromise their deen and use a job as the excuse.

Note: I am NOT Anti-Job, but I am Pro-Financial Freedom. I understand that having a job can be a noble thing when beginning to earn cash, but it’s the end result that over 90% of Americans face at 65 years old (if Allah allows them to live that long) that disturbs me. Being that the American educational system was NOT designed to create thinkers, instead its intent was to develop workers and soldiers, it is no wonder why the US is in the condition that it is in. The American education system was modeled after the Prussian system and it is clear today of the intent of the developers.

Alhamdolillah, something has happened that has never happened in recorded history! The changes in the world in the last 100 years have been spectacular to say the least but in sha Allah I want to focus on the last 20 years since that’s when I began to notice a swift moving current of change. The evolution from the assembly line to the microchip to the personal computer to the internet to our lightning quick smart phones today is just a quick glance at the technological advances that change the Money Game!

Unfortunately many Muslims fall into the same trap of old 20th century thinking & believe that to Go to School, Get Good Grades, and Get a Good Job is sound advice. I’d respectfully ask you to reconsider and ask the hundreds of thousands of ‘white collar’ professionals now displaced since the recession was admitted in 2008. Better yet read about the plummeting value of a college degree in this Time Magazine Article

I’m here to share with you that we no longer live in a society that is driven by the industrial revolution. Giant Corporations run by the likes of the Carnegies, Fords, Rockerfellers, Waltons have been replaced with Giant Corporations known today as Microsoft, Dell, Apple, Google, FaceBook and everyday people who seem to benefit most are those harvesting their ideas utilizing modern technology! Just look at FaceBook’s twenty something year old Billionaires.

Well you may be asking yourself, “How does this relate to me and what is the Muslim Money Man?” Good question! I am a Muslim, grew up poor (according to Western standards) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My paternal great grandparents owned a farm, had 13 children and lived a very different life 100 years ago than we live today. Many of my Great Uncles became Millionaires due to hard work in the produce business, they had a hard upbringing, left home illiterate in their 20’s, moved up north and began to buy produce low in the south and sell for a profit in the north. Some even invested in real estate before it was fashionable and there were many hurdles to people of color owning property. They struggled, strived, survived, and thrived. They used the models they had at their disposal and are relatively comfortable at their age. Unfortunately that wealth seems to only be lasting for one generation.

My parents were working class and had dozens of jobs throughout their working careers. That brings me to today and what is known as Internet Marketing. Ask yourself, did your parents ever pull to the side of the road while taking you to school to use their cell phone or were they trying to find a phone booth? Did your parents ever email you when you were a child? Okay, fast forward, did your parents ever buy anything online for you or did they use mail order catalog? What has happened in the last 20 years is incredible but what happened during the last 10 years will be telling if we DO NOT capitalize on it by setting some things in place to benefit our families in this life and the next!

Imagine the playing field being turned in your favor and we then deny the Blessings of Allah. Never in history has it been  so easy and inexpensive to market a product or service across the entire planet! Never have we had the opportunity to get our message across to people that buy online and crave to satisfy their wants instantly. Never has the cost of delivery been at zero with digital products and the margins of profit so high! Alhamdolillah, we live in a time that dollars have gone digital and financial wealth is in our ideas! That is what must be harvested. The challenge therefore is not can we do something great, but will we choose to do something outstanding?!.

So MuslimMoneyMan is here as a guide, a mentor, a brother and in sha Allah much more. MMM, recognizes that there has never been a time when we as Muslims (unless we were famous) had the opportunity to rack up so many blessings, especially in the form of sadaqah jariyah (continual charity). After our book is closed we as Muslims have an opportunity for continuous accumulation of good deeds by having 1 or more of the following:

1. A Righteous Son that Prays for you

2. Giving Money that continuously benefits the people (Building a Masjid, School, Well, etc…)

3. Giving Knowledge that people continue to benefit from

We have a Golden Opportunity and in sha Allah t’ala, together, this will be an opportunity for both of us. Let’s begin a journey so that you can benefit yourself financially and provide for those who are less fortunate than you which is a huge number, especially considering that over 50% of people on Earth earn less than $2 USD per day…

On your Mark, Get Set, GO!!!

walHamdolillah wa jazakAllahu khayr,

Your Brother & Financial Coach,

Nadheer
